Danny

Danny was born and raised in San Diego California where he lived with his family until the age of 18. It was at that time in 2003 when Danny’s parents heard God call them to move to Austria where Danny’s mom was born. Danny decided to stay in San Diego, until a few years later he made the decision to join his family who had moved to Lower Austria.

This was the beginning of a journey into God’s plan for his life. It was a brand new start for Danny, after a few hard years, Danny made the best decision of his life and He decided to follow Jesus with His whole heart! It was at that time that he met Nate and other young men who were actively living out their faith! For the next several years Danny would grow in his faith as he worked full time at Starbucks. Then an opportunity came to move back to the U.S. for 3 years and attend Patmos Discipleship School. It was there that God prepared Danny in a special way to be ready for the next phase of his life back in Austria, but this time in Salzburg. Danny moved to Salzburg to help at Calvary Chapel Salzburg. For 5 years Danny served in the church in many different ways.

During that time a friend contacted him to see if she could come with a small team and help him and the ministry he was doing. During the preparation for the trip, Danny fell in love with this friend (Rebecca). After the trip was over, he asked her out on a date! Rebecca gave him a chance and 5 months later they got married on the coldest day in Salzburg in almost 30 years! Since 2017 Danny and Rebecca have been married and have two amazing children. Together, they serve the Lord full time in Salzburg Austria as missionaries. They attend the GMU church and lead a mission home where they live together in community with others.

Danny leads a soccer camp ministry as well as soccer academy. He is blessed to have an amazing team around him! In his free time, he loves to play basketball, snowboard, and bodyboard! Danny’s favorite foods are Mexican and Thai food!
