Rebecca grew up in Germany with two older siblings in a loving, Christian family. Even as a young girl, she was fascinated by foreign countries, languages and cultures. That’s why she went to school in the USA for a year as a teenager, studied Business Administration for a semester in Argentina, and later worked in England for six months.
When the opportunity arose to work in the area of Human Resources management in Vienna, Austria, she jumped at the chance and moved there in early 2010. She couldn’t have imagined back then that her life, which was characterized by performance and achievement, would turn 180 degrees. During the next three years she got to know God so personally through Bible study meetings at Starbucks and in her local church CIG in Vienna that she was willing to give up everything that had been important to her up to that point for God. She received a call to serve Him with her whole life and gave up her career. After a year of working in a Christian organization, she attended a Bible school in Italy for a year and then completed a Master’s program in Christian Ministry in the USA in 2016.
Since then, Rebecca has been living in Salzburg, Austria with her husband Daniel and their two children. Rebecca leads the organizational aspects and the overall project management of their ministry and is actively involved in her local church in the areas of music, translation, administration and evangelism. She supports Danny in running the mission house, the soccer camps, and the soccer academy. Rebecca loves horses, languages, travel and good food, regardless of its country of heritage. Music that pleases God makes her heart beat faster. She comes alive when she hears or shares about people’s personal experiences with Jesus.
